20. International Poster Biennale

On the 3rd of June 2006 the laureates of the 20. International Poster Biennale were announced. 2,383 posters were submitted to this year?s anniversary edition of the Biennale. On the competition exhibition in the Poster Museum at Wilanów one could see 647 works by 436 artists from 39 countries ? works admitted to the competition by the Biennale Qualifying Committee. At the beginning of June international jury: Marjatta Ittkonen (Finland), Karel Mišek (Czech Republic), Thierry Sarfis (France), Radovan Jenko (Slovenia), Marcin Mroszczak (Poland) chose world?s best posters from the last two years in three categories: - Ideological Posters - Posters Announcing Cultural Events - Advertisement Posters and in the additional category, Henryk Tomaszewski?s Debut Award.
