E-A-T:Experiment and typography.

The exhibition presented Czech and Slovak designers achievements in the field of typography from the last 20 years. E-A-T was not a chronological review. The main criterion for choosing works for the exhibition was the process accompanying their formation in which the originality of the author’s idea meets the creative experiment. Very often such a research results in going beyond classically understood typography. The exhibition was aimed at presenting innovations created as designers’ reaction on the changing environment and technology. The exhibition showed author’s projects, sometimes not ended, as well as finished projects of magazines, books, posters etc. Exhibition curators: Johanna Biľak (Slovakia) and Alan Záruba (Czech).
