FIVE. Posters from Hungary

New Gallery 22.01. - 23.02.2003

The exhibition was organised in co-operation with Hungarian Institute of Culture in Warsaw as a part of the International Day of Hungarian Culture. The five artists: József Árendás, Ferenc Baráth, Krzysztof Ducki, István Orosz and Sándor Pinczehelyi presented posters created from 1972 to 2001. They have selected their works themselves so the exhibition became an exceptional author`s show. The exhibition gave also the unique chance to indirectly trace the changes in the cultural, social and political life of Hungary during the last 30 years. Exhibition Curator: Katarzyna Matul
