XII Polish Poster Salon

At the 12th edition of the Polish Poster Salon, 120 graphic designers presented more than 450 posters created during 2003 and 2005. The exhibition was preceded by the competition for the Polish Poster Salon visual identification system, organized among members of the Association of Graphic Designers (Stowarzyszenie Twórców Grafiki Użytkowej). 16 projects by 8 authors were submitted. The project designed by Dawid Korzekwa was approved and awarded. Korzekwa designed also the exhibition poster, the invitation card and the exhibition catalogue cover. At the opening of the Salon exhibition Studio Bakalie Art & Design organised workshops ?Polish poster school? which were meant to redefine our thinking of the tradition of Polish poster. The audience made collages from the motives and signs taken from the posters made by Henryk Tomaszewski, Jan Młodożeniec or Maciej Urbaniec. Exhibition Curator: Michał Warda.
